Eliot Fumagalli, Founder of Profit Surge Consulting

Eliot Fumagalli, founder of Profit Surge Consulting, is an expert in high performance Supply Chain business practices. He has over 25 years of global operations and supply chain experience working with companies ranging from Fortune 500 companies to early stage startups. Eliot has led international teams to achieve significant cost and cash flow improvements by optimizing product flow and inventory management.  
 
As former Corporate Director of Supply Chain for Emerson Electric, Eliot Fumagalli was in charge of developing Emerson’s global Lean Supply Chain program. Prior to his role as Corporate Director, Eliot concentrated on implementing Lean methodologies at all Rosemount offices and factories throughout the world. Due to the success of his Lean concepts within Rosemount facilities, Eliot expanded his program to include Rosemount suppliers as well. Eliot continues to demonstrate leadership and innovation through the application of Lean and Six Sigma tools and redesigned business processes.  
 
Eliot has provided Lean, Six Sigma and Strategic training to over 100 companies in Asia, Europe, and North America. His classes provide clear and easy to follow methods that show how to best optimize product flow and inventory management against variations in operations, supply chain and logistics. His training program has enabled companies to drive improvements resulting in significant inventory reduction, efficiency improvements and lead-time reductions.  
 
Eliot Fumagalli has a Masters degree in Business Management and Manufacturing Systems from University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University. He is also a certified Lean Champion and Six Sigma Black Belt. Eliot has received many awards for his work, including the Rosemount Warner Award recognizing his distinguished engineering achievements.
